சீன நாட்டில் உருவான கொரோனா வைரஸ் என்னும் கொடிய நோய் தற்போது உலகத்தின் 210 நாடுகளுக்கு பரவி கோர தாண்டவம் ஆடி வருகிறது. இதுவரையில் 40 லட்சத்திற்கும் அதிகமான மக்கள் கொரோனாவால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டு தனிமை சிகிச்சையில் இருக்கும் நிலையில் பலியானோர் எண்ணிக்கை 2,76,215 ஆக அதிகரித்திருக்கிறது.

கடந்த 24 மணி நேரத்தில் மட்டும் 6 ஆயிரத்திற்கும் அதிகமான மக்கள் கொரோனாவிற்கு பலியாகியுள்ளனர். மொத்தமாக 40,12,769 பேர் பாதிக்கப்பட்டு அவர்களில் 13,85,124 பேர் குணமடைந்து வீடு திரும்பியுள்ளனர்.
கொரோனா வைரஸ் தாக்கப்பட்டு தற்போதைய நிலவரப்படி உலகம் முழுவதும் 23,51,430 பேர் சிகிச்சை பெற்று வரும் நிலையில் அவர்களில் 48,699 பேரின் நிலைமை மிகவும் கவலைக்கிடமாக உள்ளது. இதனால் பலி எண்ணிக்கை மேலும் உயரும் அச்சம் இருக்கிறது.
உலக நாடுகளை தொடர்ந்து, இந்தியாவிலும் மெல்ல மெல்ல கொரோனா தாக்கம் அதிகரித்து கொண்டே செல்கிறது. அரசு சார்பில் என்ன தான் நடவடிக்கைகள் எடுத்தாலும், மக்கள் சமூக இடைவெளியை கடைப்பிடிப்பதும், சுகாதாரமாக இருந்து கொள்வது அவசியம் என தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
கொரோனா பிரச்சனை ஒரு பக்கம் தலைவிரித்தாடும் நிலையில், விசாகப்பட்டினத்தில்... விஷ வாயு கசிவால்... 1000 திற்கும் மேற்பட்ட மக்கள் பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர். இதன் தாக்கத்தால் 10 க்கும் மேற்பட்டோர் உயிரிழந்துள்ளனர்.
இந்த தகவல் திரையுலகை சேர்ந்த முன்னணி பிரபலங்களை மேலும் அதிர்ச்சியடைய செய்துள்ளது. எனவே விசாக பட்டினத்தில் உள்ள மக்களுக்கு ஆறுதல் கூறும் விதத்தில் பலர் ட்விட்டரில் உருக்கமான பதிவுகளை வெளியிட்டு வருகிறார்கள்.
