இந்தியாவின் முன்னாள் குடியரசுத்தலைவர் பிரணாப் முகர்ஜியின் மறைவுக்கு குடியரசுத்தலைவர் ராம்நாத் கோவிந்த், பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி மற்றும் அரசியல் கட்சி தலைவர்கள் இரங்கல் தெரிவித்துவருகின்றனர்.
இந்தியாவின் 13வது குடியரசுத்தலைவர் பிரணாப் முகர்ஜி. 2012ம் ஆண்டிலிருந்து 2017ம் ஆண்டுவரை நாட்டின் குடியரசுத்தலைவராக இருந்தார். காங்கிரஸ் கட்சியின் மூத்த தலைவரான பிரணாப் முகர்ஜி, மிகச்சிறந்த பொருளாதார நிபுணர். மத்திய அமைச்சரவையில், வெளியுறவுத்துறை அமைச்சர், பாதுகாப்புத்துறை அமைச்சர், நிதியமைச்சர் ஆகிய பதவிகளை வகித்தவர்.
உடல்நலக்குறைவால் டெல்லி ராணுவ மருத்துவமனையில் சிகிச்சை பெற்றுவந்த அவர், சிகிச்சை பலனின்றி இன்று காலமானார். அவருக்கு வயது 84. இந்தியாவின் மூத்த அரசியல் தலைவர்களில் ஒருவரான பிரணாப் முகர்ஜியின் மறைவுக்கு குடியரசுத்தலைவர் ராம்நாத் கோவிந்த், பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி, உள்துறை அமைச்சர் அமித் ஷா மற்றும் ராகுல் காந்தி உள்ளிட்ட பல தலைவர்கள் இரங்கல் தெரிவித்துவருகின்றனர்.
